Tag 1: Ankunft in Kairo - Willkommen im Land der Pharaonen

Ihr Reiseleiter wird Sie am internationalen Flughafen von Kairo abholen und Ihnen behilflich sein. Anschließend begleitet er Sie in einem klimatisierten Reisebus zum Hotel. Im Hotel hilft Ihnen der Reiseleiter beim Einchecken und bespricht mit Ihnen Ihren Reiseplan, um die Abholzeiten für jede Tour festzulegen und zu bestätigen.

Übernachtung in Kairo.

Tag 2: Pyramiden und Kairo-Sightseeing

Frühstück in Ihrem Hotel in Kairo. Anschließend werden Sie von Ihrem persönlichen Reiseführer empfangen, der Sie zum Gizeh-Plateau begleitet, um eines der sieben Weltwunder der Antike zu besichtigen: die großen Pyramiden von Cheops, Chephren und Mykerinos, die berühmte Sphinx und den Taltempel gegenüber der großen Statue. Mittagessen in einem guten lokalen Restaurant. Anschließend Transfer zum Ägyptischen Museum. Nachdem Sie die prächtigen altägyptischen Artefakte und Schätze bewundert haben, werden Sie, sofern noch Zeit ist, zum Khan El Khalili gefahren, dem ältesten Basar Kairos. Zurück zu Ihrem Hotel.

Tag 3: Flug von Kairo nach Luxor – Nilkreuzfahrt

Checken Sie morgens aus dem Hotel aus und fahren Sie dann zum Flughafen Kairo für einen Flug mit EGYPTAIR nach Luxor. Dort werden Sie abgeholt und betreut. Anschließend werden Sie in einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug zu Ihrer Nilkreuzfahrt nach Ägypten gebracht, um dort einzuchecken. Nach dem Mittagessen an Bord genießen Sie einen Besuch der beeindruckenden Karnak-Tempel und des Luxor-Tempels. Abendessen an Bord der Nilkreuzfahrt.

Tag 4: Luxor Nilkreuzfahrt

You’ll have an early breakfast on board, then head out to visit the Royal Cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, then to Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom during the 15th century BC. Travel on to the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, you will sail to Edfu, enjoying a leisurely dinner on board.

Overnight aboard your cruise in Edfu.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Visits: Royal Cemetery, the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast on board, you’ll stop for a visit to the Temple of Edfu, the best-preserved temple of the ancient world. The structure is dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. You’ll then sail to Kom Ombo, where you’ll encounter the twin temple of Kom Ombo, where you’ll learn about the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, whose monuments decorate each half of the temple. You’ll have your lunch back onboard the ship and sail on to Aswan. You’ll also have dinner onboard.

Overnight aboard your cruise in Aswan.

Visits: Temple of Edfu, Kom Ombo, Temple of Kom Ombo.

Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

After breakfast on Nile cruise, enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk, proceeding to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner on board.

Overnight on board your Nile Cruise.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Visits: High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Temple of Philae.

Day 7: Fly from Aswan to Cairo

Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast, then transfer to Aswan Airport for your return to Cairo where you will be met and assisted at the airport then taken to your hotel.

Optional tour to enjoy Abu Simbel Temples, which were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari. The price of Abu Simbel tour is $120 per person.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 8: Cairo - Fly Back Home

Breakfast at the hotel with free time at your leisure, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
