Itinerar
Traseul lui Wadi Mudhluim - o alternativă la Siq, prin tunelul Nabatean și un canion îngust și șerpuit. Siq este cea mai cunoscută și spectaculoasă intrare în Petra și este folosită de majoritatea vizitatorilor ruinelor. Cu toate acestea, există o serie de intrări alternative în ruine, care văd mult mai puțini vizitatori și care merită explorate, mai ales dacă planificați mai mult de 1 sau 2 zile în Petra.

Deși cu siguranță ar trebui să urmați Siq-ul în Petra cel puțin o dată (și probabil de mai multe ori, la diferite momente ale zilei), dacă ați alocat câteva zile unei vizite, frumosul Wadi Muthlim este o cale alternativă bună de intrare prin peisaje uimitoare. , dar durează nu mai puțin de două ore pentru a te livra la Nimfeu din centrul orașului. Datorită pericolului foarte real al inundațiilor fulgerătoare, nu ar trebui să încercați deloc acest lucru în timpul sezonului ploios – aproximativ din noiembrie până în martie – și chiar și până în mai, pot exista bazine de apă greu de evitat care adăpostesc șerpi de apă. : vad ar fi o greșeală.
Înainte de a începe plimbarea, puteți face un mic ocol de la barajul de la intrarea Siq până la Nișa Vulturului, așezată în stânci la 400 m spre nord-vest. Traversați wadi-ul peste acoperișul tunelului și mergeți la stânga pe a doua vale laterală; este o scurtă luptă peste stânca netedă și fierbinte până la un set de nișe mici sculptate în peretele din dreapta, dintre care una prezintă un vultur sculptat izbitor, cu aripile întinse.
Înapoi la tunel, Wadi Muthlim – plin de oleandri, dar cu pereți înalți tăind toate barele de sunet și cântecul ocazional al păsărilor – este ușor de parcurs până la rămășițele unui alt baraj nabatean; dincolo de aici, poteca devine din ce în ce mai îngustă până când ajungi într-un punct în care un bolovan masiv aproape blochează drumul. Este posibil să treci peste, iar poteca continuă să se îngusteze până când, cu podeaua wadiului nu mai lată decât piciorul tău, ajungi la o intersecție în T; săgețile de pe pereții solidi de jur împrejur vă vor îndrepta spre stânga. Acest cross-wadi este SiddMaajn, la fel de îngust, dar frumos erodat de apa curgătoare. Pe măsură ce avansați, aparent deplasându-vă prin inima muntelui, veți observa că nabateenii au fost aici înaintea dvs.: există zeci de nișe sculptate, unele având frontoane, alte coarne curbate. Pe aici drumul ar putea fi blocat de stânci.
În cele din urmă, vei ieși în Wadi Mataha, la aproximativ 600 m nord-est de Casa lui Dorotheos și cea mai bună parte de 2 km nord-est de Nymphaeum.

-(A). You can book it online or please contact us by email. – (B). : 4- In very rare cases, JHT reserves the rights to amend or cancel the booking in the following cases: DT
-(A). In Last minute booking in less than 24 hrs period of the requested date. –(B). When no personalized follow up email detailing that a booking is confirmed is sent by a member of our reservation team. If our JHT team is not available i.e. contact outside working hours, weekends, national holiday, religious holidays or any applicable holiday i.e. Easter, Eids, Christmas, New Year’s Eve…etc. –(C). In cases of missing information on guests’ side as some information is necessary. – (D). Also JHT reserves the right to amend /cancel the tour / itinerary for reasons such as service requirements, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Where a change /cancellation is of a significant nature it will be advised to our customers in writing. Because these excursions will be provided by local operators and independent suppliers, Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT does not have any involvement in how they are run, nor can Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT guarantee the accuracy of information in relation to such activities and excursions outside of our control. –(B). Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT cannot guarantee that an optional excursion or activity operated by an independent third party will be available during your tour in Jordan, or that it will operate as advertised. Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT disclaims any liability in relation to such activities or excursions. –(C). Those tours are subject to the supplier’s Terms and conditions or any other circumstances, i.e : service requirements, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances…etc -(D) If you want to include this tour in your Jordan Tour package with us , this will be added to your original booking and you can pay to us directly & it will be added to the tour .-(E). : 2. When those tours can be booked or added to your tour package in Jordan OTIJ
-(A). Those tours only available for booking in case if a tour package has been booked and those tour to be added to the package. So, Booking this tour is not available UNLESS you have already booked or you are going to book a tour package in Jordan.-(B). Otherwise if you have a rental car and booking Jordan tour by your own, you can contact them the suppliers of those tours to book it for you.
: 3. Booking in Advance or Booking once you are in Jordan ? OTIJ
-(A). Some optional tours can not be booked in advance and they will be available upon your arrival to Jordan (Examples : camel riding in Petra and Wadi Rum, Golf Carts in Petra, Petra by Night, Petra Kitchen, Beit Setti, optional tours in Aqaba …etc. You can ask your driver/guide to book and arrange them for you , and you can pay to the driver or to the service supplier directly. –(B). However, some of the optional tours should be booked in advance, (i.e Balloon Ride , Horse Riding in Petra or Wadi Rum , Guided tours in Petra , Tours by Jeep or Trekking in wadi rum , Hiking tours and guides in Dana …etc), Those optional tours should be booked in advance and they are subject to the supplier’s Terms and conditions or any other circumstances, i.e : service requirements, availability, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances…etc.
Pro-tip: Some activities and excursions are subject to a minimum number of travelers in order to run, while the excursions could be confirmed by supplier months ahead, closer to date, and if the minimum number to operate was not achieved, or if for weather conditions, it was deemed unsafe to run, the excursions can be cancelled by vendor.
