Private Tours and Driver Services
For private tours with 1-6 people, you have the flexibility of hiring a driver only, with the option to hire tour guides at specific locations. On your tour, you will be accompanied by an English-speaking driver if your final itinerary includes transfers. Please note that your driver is not an official licensed Ministry of Tourism guide and, therefore, cannot enter the sites with you.
Your driver’s role is to transfer you from one destination to another according to your itinerary. While they may be able to explain some facts about the areas you visit and offer insights into Jordan’s culture and traditions, they cannot act as a full tour guide. Their primary responsibility is to drop you off and pick you up at designated locations. However, they will assist with logistical details, such as recommending places for lunch or dinner and advising on pick-up and drop-off times.
For certain sites, such as Petra and Jerash, we include local guides to provide you with a more detailed and immersive experience. Additionally, during your jeep tour in Wadi Rum, you will be accompanied by a local Bedouin guide.
Important Note on Language Availability:
Drivers who speak languages other than English, including Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Romanian, are available but subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance if you require a driver who speaks one of these languages. In case these drivers are not available, English-speaking drivers will be the only alternative.
Please be aware that your driver is not at your disposal 24/7 but will be with you according to your planned itinerary. Optional tours and additional assistance can be arranged through your driver if needed.

To ensure the best experience, we recommend booking in advance if you require a guide in a language other than English. In the event that a guide in your preferred language is not available, an English-speaking guide will be provided as an alternative.
Important Tourism Regulations in Jordan
As mandated by the Jordanian Government and the Ministry of Tourism, any group consisting of 7 or more travelers journeying together in a single vehicle is required to be accompanied by a licensed Jordanian Tourist Guide. This guide will assist your group from the moment you arrive in Jordan until your departure. The guide can be arranged through a travel agency, which will also provide the necessary documentation, known as a visa manifest, to be stamped by the authorities upon your arrival.
Additionally, all groups in Jordan must be escorted by a police officer throughout the tour, as per government regulations. It is important to adhere to these rules to ensure a smooth and lawful journey. Traveling without a guide or police escort when required for groups of 7 or more would be in violation of these regulations.
