The Aqaba (Yitzhak Rabin) Border Crossing is open:

  • Sunday to Thursday: 06:30 – 20:00
  • Friday and Saturday: 08:00 – 20:00

The border is closed on Yom Kippur and the first day of the Muslim New Year.

Important: During daylight saving time changes, the border operates according to Israeli time. Unexpected closures may also occur without prior notice.

  • Israeli Visa Fee: Free
  • Israeli Departure Tax: 105 NIS (~$30 USD), payable in USD or NIS
  • Jordanian Visa Fee: 40 JOD (~$60 USD), if not included in your tour package (must be paid in JOD)
  • Jordanian Departure Tax: 10 JOD (~$15 USD), where applicable (must be paid in JOD)
  • ASEZA Fee: 20 JOD (~$30 USD) for stays under 2 nights or for day trips (must be paid in JOD)

  1. Complete Israeli exit procedures and pay the departure tax.
  2. Walk approximately 200 meters to the Jordanian terminal.
  3. Meet our Jordanian representative, who will assist you with the visa process and escort you to your driver.

Important: All tours start and end at the Jordanian side. Private vehicles cannot cross the border.

If the meet-and-assist service is included in your tour, our representative will be waiting for you at the Jordanian terminal, holding a sign with your name.

Important: Please do not proceed to immigration before meeting our representative.

We require your passport details to prepare the visa manifest needed for the meet-and-assist service at the Jordanian side of the border.

Unfortunately, private vehicles cannot cross the border. You will need to arrange your own taxi to and from the Eilat border crossing.

Groups of six or more travelers are required to be accompanied by a licensed Jordanian guide and a tourist policeman throughout their stay in Jordan.

Israeli passport holders are granted a free visa on arrival.

Dual nationals (holding Israeli and another nationality) must provide Israeli passport details for the visa manifest.

Flight (Recommended):
Arkia Airlines – Visit the Arkia Air Website. Flight time is approximately 45 minutes, and ticket prices start at around 30 Euros.

Bus:
Egged Bus Company – Visit the Egged Website. Travel time is approximately 5–6 hours (most economical option).

Private Transfer:
We can arrange a private transfer, but please note it is expensive. Rates start from $650 USD for a 4-seater vehicle from Tel Aviv to Eilat. Contact us for a customized quote.
