1. Private Drivers and Transfers for FITs (Private Tours of 6 People or Less)

For smaller groups and families (1 to 6 people), we offer the following types of vehicles and driver services:

  Used for 1-4 passengers maximum with luggage stored in the trunk.
  Example models: Toyota Camry, Kia Cerato, Hyundai Sonata, Nissan Altima. All sedan cars are brand new (no more than 5 years old) and specifically used for tourism.

• B. Mini Van
  Used for up to 6 passengers with luggage stored in the trunk.
  Mini-vans in Jordan come with 7 seats for guests and 1 for the driver, or 6 seats for guests with 2 seats reserved for the driver and guide. Models include Toyota HiAce, Hyundai H1, and Mercedes-Benz Van (available at an additional cost).

• Jerash (Mandatory Guide): The local guide at Jerash provides detailed information about the Roman ruins, such as the Oval Plaza, the Hadrian's Arch, and the Hippodrome.

• Amman City Tour (Mandatory Guide): A local guide will cover significant landmarks such as the Amman Citadel, the Roman Theater, and the Jordan Museum.

• Madaba and Mount Nebo (Optional Guide): These sites can be self-guided or you can hire a guide for more historical context on the famous mosaics and the religious significance of Mount Nebo.

• Baptism Site: Guides are available to offer insight into the religious and historical importance of this sacred location on the Jordan River, believed to be the baptismal site of Jesus.

2. Drivers and Guides for Groups of 7 People or More

For larger groups, different vehicles and services are required to accommodate both passengers and luggage. Jordanian law also requires a licensed tour guide for groups of 7 or more.

Vehicle Types

• A. 12-Seater Van (10 Guests + Guide + Driver)
  This vehicle is larger than a mini-van, providing space for 10 passengers. Luggage is stored in the trunk.

Most of the vans in Jordan are either Hyundai H350 or Toyota HiAce models.

• B. Coaster Bus (16 Guests + Guide + Driver)
  Ideal for medium-sized groups, this 18-seater bus is typically limited to 13 passengers to ensure extra luggage space and a more comfortable journey.

• C. Medium Bus (14-30 Guests)
  Used for larger groups, these buses (Mercedes-Benz, MAN models) can hold between 14 and 30 guests. According to Jordanian tourism laws, licensed guides are required for these buses.

  This category of buses is equipped to hold up to 48 passengers, with enough luggage space for all. Like the medium buses, a licensed guide must accompany the group throughout the tour.

For groups of 7 or more, Jordanian law mandates the presence of a licensed tour guide who will:

• Meet the group upon arrival in Jordan.
• Stay with the group throughout the entire trip.
• Handle group documentation, including visa manifest stamping upon entry.

Available Guide Languages for Large Groups

• English: Widely available.
• French, Spanish, Italian, German, Polish, Hungarian, Russian, Portuguese, Romanian, Serbian, Indonesian: Limited availability and subject to early booking. If unavailable, English-speaking guides will be assigned.
• Chinese and Japanese: Only translators are available for these languages.
