This immersive Jordan journey combines the country’s classical highlights, biblical heritage, Roman history, and natural landscapes with authentic local experiences. Beginning in Amman, the tour explores the remarkably preserved Roman cities of the north, the Umayyad Eastern Desert Castles, the historic King’s Highway, the mosaic city of Madaba, the sacred Mount Nebo, the tranquil landscapes of Dana, the legendary Petra, the dramatic desert of Wadi Rum, and concludes with relaxation at the Dead Sea. The itinerary is thoughtfully paced and designed as a private, tailor-made experience, ideal for travelers seeking cultural depth, scenery, and comfort.
Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative before visa control. All arrangements for your free Jordanian visa will be handled, after which you will be introduced to your driver and transferred approximately 30 minutes to your hotel in Amman.

After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and drive north to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities outside Italy and a former member of the Decapolis. Enjoy a guided visit including Hadrian’s Arch, the Hippodrome, the Oval Forum, the Colonnaded Street, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis.
Continue through pine forests and olive groves to Ajloun, where you will visit Ajloun Castle (Al-Rabid Castle), a 12th-century fortress built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants. Proceed further north to Umm Qais, the ancient city of Gadara, offering sweeping views over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. Explore the ruins independently before returning to Amman.
Overnight in Amman Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, travel east from Amman to visit the famous Umayyad Desert Castles, including Qusayr Amra (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Qasr Kharana, and Qasr Al-Azraq. These castles reflect early Islamic art, architecture, and desert life, with Qusayr Amra renowned for its exceptional 8th-century frescoes.
Return to Amman for a city tour, visiting the Citadel with remains from Roman to early Islamic periods, the Archaeological Museum, the bustling downtown souqs, and the impressive Roman Theatre. (A local guide for the Amman city tour is available at an additional cost.)
After breakfast, travel along the historic King’s Highway to Madaba, renowned for its Byzantine mosaics. Visit the Church of St. George, home to the famous 6th-century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, and the Church of St. John the Baptist, with panoramic views from its bell tower and an underground museum.
Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have viewed the Promised Land, with views extending across the Dead Sea toward Jerusalem on clear days. Proceed south to Dana Village, where you may enjoy a scenic walk through terraced gardens, Ottoman-era architecture, and local craft workshops.

After breakfast, optional short hikes or local activities may be enjoyed before departing Dana. Stop at Shobak Castle, dramatically positioned on a mountain ridge overlooking surrounding valleys.
Continue to Little Petra, where you will explore Nabataean triclinia and biclinia (ancient dining halls) and view rare surviving Nabataean frescoes.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided visit of Petra, the legendary Nabataean capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the dramatic Siq to the iconic Treasury, then explore the Street of Facades, Roman Theatre, Colonnaded Street, and Qasr Al-Bint.
The afternoon is free to explore further highlights such as the Byzantine Church, the Temple of the Winged Lions, or to climb to the Monastery (Ad-Deir) or the High Place of Sacrifice. Optional longer hiking trails, such as the Back Road to the Monastery, are available.
Overnight in Petra Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, transfer approximately 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a local Bedouin guide and experience traditional hospitality.
Enjoy a 4–5 hour 4x4 Jeep Safari through the spectacular desert landscape, visiting key sites such as the Nabataean Temple, Lawrence’s Spring, sand dunes, Khazali Canyon, Um Frouth Rock Bridge, Lawrence’s House, and the Burdah Rock Bridge. A box lunch is included.
End the day watching the sunset and enjoying a traditional Bedouin BBQ dinner under the stars.
Overnight in a Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast and sunrise in Wadi Rum, transfer approximately 3.5 hours to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth.
The remainder of the day is free to relax at your hotel, enjoy its facilities, and experience the unique sensation of floating in the mineral-rich waters.
