They will take you to meet your driver and you will be transferred to Amman.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Overnight Amman hotel including breakfast.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 2 : Amman – Kings Hwy – (Madaba – Mt Nebo – Wadi Mujib View Point – Karak) – Petra & Overnight</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Breakfast at the hotel.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Today you will travel down the Kings Hwy, a route that has been in use for centuries. First stop will be at Madaba and the Church of St. George. In the floor of the church is the remarkable 6th century mosaic map – its two million pieces of coloured stone depicting the hills, valleys and towns of the Holy Land.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Travel on to Mount Nebo, 800m above sea level, where you can stand on the site where Moses looked out over the “Promised Land”. The magnificent mosaic located here is second only to Madaba’s world famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Continuing down the Kings Hwy you will stop at the Wadi Mujib Viewpoint – often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Jordan.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Continue to visit the best preserved crusader castle in Jordan - Karak.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>You will then be transferred to Petra.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Overnight Petra hotel including breakfast.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 3 : Petra – Petra Tour – Aqaba & Overnight</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Breakfast at the hotel.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Today you will visit to Petra. One of the New Seven Wonders of the world, it is without doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and the greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab civilization who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India, and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece, and Rome.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Take a fascinating tour to admire the natural beauty and breathtaking architecture of this ancient city. Start exploring the site on a 2.5 hour guided tour. You will walk through the Siq, a colourful narrow gorge over a kilometer long which leads to the magnificent Treasury. See royal tombs, the Roman-style theatre, beautiful temples and museums. Free time to further explore. Its sandy beaches and coral reefs are the most pristine on the Red Sea, and Jordanians continuously work hard to preserve it as such. Indigo-colored deep water lies just off shore in Aqaba, offering kaleidoscopic marine life within easy reach. Exploring means a leisurely drive to a private spot and a short swim out to the reef. Marvel at the sunset and gaze at the 1000s of stars in the night sky. Enjoy the legendary hospitality of the Bedouins. This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humans.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4x4 tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges. Start the 04-05 Hours 4x4 tour with our local Bedouin who is the driver.
