Day 1: Arrival - Amman Overnight
Meet and assist by our representative at Queen Alia Airport who will assist you through the immigration and customs and match with your driver and head to your hotel in Amman. Overnight in Amman.
Day 2: Amman - Amman city tour – Cave of 7 the Sleepers – AmmanAfter breakfast – We start the morning with a visit of the Citadel in Amman with remains from the Roman to the Islamic period as well as the Archaeological Museum. We proceed in downtown, the oldest part of Amman to Al Husseini Mosque, built on remains of a mosque in 640 AD by caliph Umar bin Al Khattab. You have time to stroll visa the Souq before we continue to the tomb of the venerable companion Abdul Rahman bin Awf Al Zuhri, one of the ‘Blessed Ten.We end the day at Kahf Al Raqim, the Cave of the Seven Sleepers, with a mosque fitting the description of the Holy Quran. Return to Amman for overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Amman – Jordan Valley - Shrine of Prophet Shuayb -Abu Ubaida Amer bin Al-Jarrah - tomb of Moath bin Jabal -tomb of Derar bin Al Azwar - AmmanAfter breakfast, we drive to Wadi Shuayb, near Salt, to the Shrine of Prophet Shuayb. From here we head to the Jordan Valley, to the tomb of Abu Ubaida Amer bin Al-Jarrah, a relative of Prophet Mohammad, commander of the Northern Muslim Army, and one of the Blessed Ten, to whom Mohammad promised paradise. We then visit the tomb of Moath bin Jabal, who compiled the Holy Quran during the life of Prophet Mohammad, and the tomb of Derar bin Al Azwar.
Day 4: Amman - Mutah - Kerak - PetraAfter breakfast, In the morning we drive southwards to Kerak, visit here the famous castle, and go on to the site of the Battle of Mutah in 629 AD. Here we find the tombs of the venerable companion Zaid bin Harithah, who led the army during the battle of Mutah and died, and the tombs of Ja’far bin Abi Talib and Abdullah bin Ruwahah.We later proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Petra full dayAfter breakfast, we are heading to Jordan’s crown jewel and travelers’ ultimate destination, the ancient lost city of Petra! The Nabateans carved this city in stone with simple tools 1500 years ago, and nothing will prepare you for the beauty and the sheer size of Al Khazna! Mark my words when it starts peeking at you by the end of the Siq (the pathway to Petra)! Later transfer to Amman for overnight.
Day 6: Amman – North of Jordan (Yarmouk Battle Field / Ajloun Castle) - AmmanAfter breakfast – Today we head north to visit the battlefield of Yarmouk. A major battle took place here between the armies of the East Roman-Byzantine Empire and the Muslim Arab forces led by Khalid Al-Walid.
We visit Nabi Hud shrine, and Abu Al Darda’ tomb, later we proceed to Ajloun to visit the castle, which is a 12th century Muslim castle built on the mountain top by Izz al-Din Usama, a general in the army of Saladin.Back to Amman for overnight.
Day 7 Amman - Dead Sea - DepartureFree day by the Dead Sea beach, and transfer to the airport for departure.
