Day No. 1: Aqaba Airport – Wadi Rum – 4x4 tour – Wadi Rum & Overnight
Our representative will meet and assist you upon your arrival at Aqaba International Airport for your free visa to Jordan. Drive to Wadi Rum , Enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4x4 tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges. Start the 04-05 Hours 4x4 tour with our local Bedouin who is your driver. The sites you are going to visit are : Nabatean Temple, Lawrence Spring, Sand Dunes, Khazali Canyon, Little Bridge, Um Frouth Rock Bridge, Lawrence House and Burdah Rock Bridge/Burdah Arch. 01 Hour Camel Riding is optional from Rum Village to Lawrence Spring (15 JD/$21 USD per hour per camel).At the end of the day, marvel at the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin, before sleeping at the foot of the awesome mountains exploding out from the desert landscape. Day No. 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Petra Tour – Petra & Overnight
Breakfast and enjoy sunrise at the camp. After breakfast drive about 1.5 hours to the rose-red city of Petra, Jordan’s largest attraction. First started in the 6th century B.C. by Nabataean Arabs the city boasts beautiful facades carved directly into the walls of the mountainsides. Arriving at the visitor’s center it’s a 700-meter walk to the Siq entrance. The Siq is an impressive 1200 meter long gorge of a kaleidoscope of colors that towers more than 80 meters above you and it will lead you to the wonderful Treasury. As you exit the chasm you’re instantly transfixed by the beauty of Petra, chosen as one of the New World Wonders, the place speaks for itself. Free time to explore further yourself. Day No. 3: Petra – Dead Sea - Madaba - Mt Nebo – Amman
Breakfast at the hotel. You will be driven 2.30 hour towards the lowest point on earth the Dead Sea for you to enjoy the health benefits of its mineral mud and float on its salty waters which is 10 times more saltier than ocean water. It has attracted many visitors since the ancient time including King Herod, the Great Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. You will check into one of the Day Beach Resorts (Oh Beach/Amman Beach) and enjoy their facilities and services including lunch. Next stop is Mount Nebo where Moses is said to have stood and looked out to the Promised Land. On a clear day you can look out over the Dead Sea and all the way to Jerusalem. Then it's a short drive to Madaba. Best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, Madaba is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two million pieces of vividly coloured local stone, it depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta. The Madaba Mosaic Map covers the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, which is located northwest of the city Centre. The church was built in 1896 AD, over the remains of a much earlier 6th century Byzantine church. The mosaic panel enclosing the Map was originally around 15.6 X 6m, 94 sqm., only about a quarter of which is preserved. You will then be transferred to Amman. Day No. 4: Amman –Jerash – Amman City Tour – Amman
Pick up from any Hotel in Amman, and transfer 50 km north of Amman to visit Jerash, which is nestled in a quiet valley among the mountains of Gilead. It is the grandeur of Imperial Rome being one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. Its paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theaters, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls pierced by towers and gates are exceptional. In Jerash you will visit Hadrian’s Arch, Oval Plaza, The Cathedral, The North & South Theater, and The Nymphaeum. You will be transferred back to Amman. You will visit the Roman Theatre, Amman Downtown, Amman Citadel and you may have free time by yourselves in Amman downtown. The Amman City Tour is a self guided tour with your driver transferring you to each site. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Amman.
