Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Amman (QAIA Airport)

Welcome to Jordan!
Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you’ll be greeted before Visa Control by our representative holding a sign with your name. They’ll assist you with the formalities for your free Jordanian visa and guide you through customs. Afterwards, meet your driver for a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Amman (approx. 30 minutes).
Meals: None

Day 2 – Amman → Madaba → Mount Nebo → Dead Sea (Overnight at the Dead Sea)

Biblical Heritage & Natural Wonders
After breakfast, drive south to the town of Madaba, famed for its remarkable 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land inside St. George’s Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Prophet Moses viewed the Promised Land before his passing. Visit the ancient monastery and enjoy panoramic views of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the hills of the Holy Land.
Then descend to the lowest point on Earth – the Dead Sea, renowned for its unique buoyant waters and therapeutic minerals. Relax and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime floating experience.
Meals: Breakfast

Day 3 – Dead Sea → Al-Mansoura → Wadi Ghweir to Feynan Hike → Feynan Ecolodge

A Hidden Gem for Adventurers
After an early breakfast, depart around 8:00–9:00 AM toward Al-Mansoura (approx. 2.5 hrs). Here, hikers meet their local guide and begin an unforgettable trek through Wadi Ghweir — a breathtaking canyon resembling the famous Siq of Petra. The hike (approx. 16–18 km, Grade: Difficult) takes about 6 hours for experienced hikers, following the gravel riverbed alongside a stream through towering sandstone formations and lush vegetation.

Pause for tea midway, where your guide will share insights about the area’s geology and history. Continue toward the Byzantine ruins of Khirbet Feynan, ending at the award-winning Feynan Ecolodge, an oasis of sustainability and tranquility.

(Note: This trail may close in case of rainfall due to flash-flood risk.)
For non-hikers, transfer by road (approx. 1.5–2 hrs), then by local pickup truck to the lodge. Upon arrival, you may relax or join one of the ecolodge’s enriching activities (see calendar: https://ecohotels.me/feynan/calendar).
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 4 – Feynan → Petra (Full Visit of Petra Main Trail)

Discover the Lost City of Petra
After breakfast, depart for Petra, the rose-red city carved entirely from sandstone cliffs. Walk through the dramatic 1.2 km-long Siq, flanked by towering rock walls, until the path suddenly reveals the iconic Treasury (Al-Khazneh). Continue through the Street of Facades, the Roman Theatre, and the Colonnaded Street, leading to Qasr al-Bint.

You’ll have free time to explore more hidden wonders — perhaps the Byzantine Church, Temple of the Winged Lions, or a climb to the Monastery (Ad-Deir) or High Place of Sacrifice for panoramic views.
Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 – Petra → Little Petra → Wadi Rum (4-Hour Jeep Tour & Overnight)

From Nabatean Marvels to Desert Majesty
Begin the day with a short visit to Little Petra (Al Beidha), a smaller yet equally fascinating Nabatean site once used as a caravan rest stop. Its white sandstone walls, carved dwellings, and water channels tell stories of ancient traders and travelers.

Continue south to the Wadi Rum Desert, often called the “Valley of the Moon.” Enjoy a 4-hour 4x4 Jeep tour following the trails of Lawrence of Arabia. Visit Lawrence’s Spring, Khazali Canyon, Little Bridge, Um Fruth Rock Bridge, and Burdah Rock Bridge. Witness a stunning desert sunset, then experience authentic Bedouin hospitality and a traditional dinner under a canopy of stars.
Overnight in a Bedouin camp surrounded by towering red-sandstone mountains.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Box, Dinner

Day 6 – Wadi Rum → Amman City Tour → Amman

History & Culture in the Capital
After breakfast, return to Amman for a city tour. Explore the Citadel, with its sweeping views and ruins spanning Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic eras. Visit the Archaeological Museum, then walk through the lively Souq (market) to experience daily Jordanian life. End your tour at the 2nd-century Roman Theatre, an impressively preserved landmark that seats 6,000 spectators.
(Tour is self-guided with private transportation between sites.)
