At the exit of the airport hall, the groups will be met by a Traditional Jordanian Dance called “Dabka”, One of the most popular traditional dances in Jordan is dabka. This may be performed as gender-segregated or co-ed groups. The dancers line up shoulder-to-shoulder, holding hands or placing arms over the neighbouring two dancers’ shoulders, then move as a group in a circle using steps that are punctuated by kicks and stomps. The accompanying music includes a flute called a Nay, a drum called a Tabl, and a reed instrument called a mizmar. This group dance is popular among Bedouins and non-Bedouins alike, and is often performed at weddings. Jordan has also been affected by an influx of Western dance styles within the Western cultural impact of the last century. These include several ballroom and ballet dance studios in Amman, as well as a regionally recognized and royally supported contemporary dance troupe. After this warm welcome from Jordan traditions, you will be transferred 40 min approx. to your hotel in Amman, check in at your hotel. You will have your own time for rest and relaxation after checking at the hotel.

A Saj lady welcomes you before entering the external courtyard filled with tables around the waterfall. Tawaheen el Hawa is a casual Mediterranean restaurant where low, wood and leather seats surround the heavy wooden tables. Every large square table comes with a round beautifully designed copper tray placed in the middle where food is served on. Jordan’s coffee ceremony is elaborate; it not only provides a hot drink, but is also a form of communication. Refusing a cup of coffee is not an option, as it can be construed as an insult to the host. While you are in this biggest dome tent and enjoying the refreshments at the Sun City Camp, there will a Bedouin Musician playing a Bedouin Music: music from the heart!
Their music comes from our hearts. It is one of their ways of desert storytelling. Stories set to music to arouse the imagination of the musicians and their audience. It is like a caravan of camels on a long ride. One musician is in the front. He starts and leads the song. The other musicians follow him one by one—all in a set order and rhythm. The songs are long, with a lot of repetition. Mostly we use the rhythm of a riding camel. It is the rhythm that will capture and hold you. The Music instrument used for this Bedouin music is Rababa , The Rababa is an over 1500 years old bowed string instrument. A one-stringed fiddle held on the lap. It is made from goatskin and the tail of an Arabian racing horse.
After that, you will check in at your tents at the camp, have a shower and relax and be ready for the your 4x4 adventure tour in the desert. Sand dunes: large area of sand dunes piled up against the mountains. Fun to climb to the top. Have desert-adapted plants. Khazali canyon: deep, narrow fissure in the mountain side, containing many rock inscriptions. Little bridge: one of the most popular rock bridges in Wadi Rum desert is named for its size. The Um Fruth rock bridge is one of the most photographed places in Wadi Rum. The bridge is about 15 meters up from the desert floor. Lawrence’s House in Wadi Rum is called so because TE Lawrence reportedly slept here during his time in the desert. But actually, the place has a much older history than its namesake. Burdah Rock Bridge/Burdah Arch: This natural rock arch is the largest and most impressive rock arch found in our Protected Area. Then you will be transferred to the best site for Wadi Rum Sunset as per our experience and our clients have loved it. Marvel at the sunset before driving you back to your camp, for dinner.
You have a have a dinner show for your Gala Dinner tonight, you will see how to get the Mandi / Zarb out of the ground, Madni / Zarb is a traditional dish that originated from Hadhramaut, Yemen, consisting mainly of meat and rice with a special blend of spices, cooked in a pit underground. It is extremely popular and prevalent in most areas of the Arabian Peninsula, and even considered a staple dish in many regions. It is also found in Egypt, India, the Levant, and Turkey. Mandi/Zarb was usually made from rice, meat (lamb, camel, goat or chicken), and a mixture of spices called hawaij. The meat used is usually a young and small sized lamb to enhance the taste further. Similar to a Polynesian underground meat roast, the Jordanian Bedouin version of an underground oven is known as Zarb/ Mandi. A mix of meat like lamb and chicken, rice, onions and carrots, are placed in a square hole in the ground, which is filled with flaming hot coals. The hole is then covered with a few layers of blankets to hold in the heat and finally sand is covered over the oven. After a few hours, the meat and rice are all smoked, steamed, and grilled, all at the same time. The result is meat that’s fall apart tender.
