Tour Itinerary :

 Arrival to Queen Alia airport. Our representative will meet you before Visa Control with a sign with your name on it. They will take care of all the necessary paperwork for your free Jordanian Visa. They will then take you to meet your driver. You will be transferred 30 mins to Amman to your hotel.

Day No.  2 / ( ) : Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Umm Qais - Amman

Tour Itinerary :

Drive to the north to Jerash, the well preserved city of the Roman Empire, often called Pompeii of the East. Initially built by Alexander the Great, the town started to prosper after the Roman conquest, and was one of the Decapolis cities in northern Jordan. You will have a 1.5 hr guided tour in Jerash. Visit Hadrian's Arch, built in 130 AD to honor the visit of Emperor Hadrian. Pass the Hippodrome offering space for 15,000 spectators, the impressive Forum, continue to the Temple of Artemis with columns 12 meters high and each drum weighs 20-40 tons. Other highlights are the Colonnaded Street and the Nymphaeum.

Transfer through a beautiful pine-forest and olive groves, reaching the city of Ajloun. Here you will find Al-Rabid Castle; the 12th century Castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. You will explore the castle by yourself. It is an easy site to explore by yourself.

You will continue to drive up North to Umm Qais, which is situated on the border with Israel, offering impressive views over the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee. Umm Qais is the site of the ancient Greco-Roman city of Gadara, a member of the Decapolis. The city is mentioned in the New Testament as the site where Jesus cast out demons and sent them into pigs, who then ran into the sea. The ruins boast an impressive Colonnaded Street, a vaulted terrace and the remains of two theatres. You will explore this site by yourselves. It is easy to navigate around and the main features have information boards to help you. 

Day No.  3 / ( ) : Amman - Desert Castle - Shaumari Reserve, - Amman City Tour - Amman

Tour Itinerary :

You will head East to the Eastern Desert. You will visit three of the region's famous desert castles built by the powerful Umayyad dynasty - UNESCO-listed Qusayr Amra, Qasr Kharana and Qasr al-Azraq. Qusayr Amra was once an Umayyad hunting hideaway. The impeccably preserved castle is now best-known for its 8th-century frescoes that depict hedonistic scenes of nude women, wine and wild times. Next stop is the impressive 2 story Qasr Kharana where Mesopotamian, Arabic and Greek influences are all apparent inside its walls. Qasr Al-Azraq is built from black bassalt and was built as a hunting lodge by the Umayyads, but is more famously known as TE Lawrences headquarters in more recent history.

You will visit Shaumari Reserve, near Azraq, which was established as a breeding centre to reintroduce wildlife to the region such as endangered Arabian oryx, Persian onagers (wild ass), Dorcas gazelles and houbara bustards. You will go on a safari trip at the reserve. Next you will visit the Azraq wetlands which have an abundant of wildlife/birdlife.

Back to Amman and  start your Amman city tour to explore Amman downtown. Amman is a bustling modern city. We will visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. Located at the Citadel site is the small Archaeological Museum, housing an excellent collection showing the occupation of the site over the centuries. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, to the Roman Theater from the 2nd century with 6000 seats. The Amman City Tour can be a self-guided transferring you to each site. 

Day No.  4 / ( ) : Amman - Madaba - Nebo - Overlook Wadi Al Mujib - Karak - Dana - Petra

Tour Itinerary :

Drive to the town Madaba, where you find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. After that continue to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and alleged to be his burial place. You will visit an old monastery; overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.

You will continue down the Kings Hwy to Wadi Al Mujib where you will stop and look at the viewpoint.

You will stop at Karak City, where you will visit Karak Castle the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Kerak Castle is a large Crusader castle located in al-Karak, Jordan. It is one of the largest crusader castles in the Levant. Construction of the castle began in the 1140s, under Pagan and Fulk, King of Jerusalem. The Crusaders called it Crac des Moabites or "Karak in Moab", as it is referred to in history books. It was also colloquially referred to as Krak of the Desert. Kerak Castle is an example of one of the first castles built by the Franks that used a fortified tower structure and is a notable example of Crusader architecture, a mixture of west European, Byzantine, and Arab designs.

You will continue down the Kings Hwy to Dana where you will stop and look at the viewpoint. Dana is Jordan’s largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometers of spectacular mountains and Wadis along the face of the Great Rift Valley. From scorching sand dunes in the west to cool mountaintops in the east, the Dana Biosphere Reserve is home to a great variety of wildlife. There are plants and animals characteristic of true desert, of Mediterranean forests and of the dry plains of Russia.

Drive to Petra and Overnight

Day No.  5 / ( ) : Petra Visit - Little Petra - Wadi Rum

Tour Itinerary :

Today, visit Petra . This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated for a long time the Arabian trade routes, and is a must see in the Middle East. Walk through the 1.2km long Siq (chasm), passing shrines, tombs and carvings, to reach the lost city of Petra. See the magnificent Treasury as you exit the Siq, explore the Street of Facades, Roman Theatre, Colonnaded Street and Qasr Bint. You will then have free time to explore further on your own too . There are still plenty of places to see such as the Byzantine Church, Temple of the Winged Lion’s and you might like to climb the 800 steps to the Monastery or the shorter climb to the top of the High Place of Sacrifice.

You will head to little Petra. Al Beidha or Little Petra, is only a few kilometres from Petra and it is literally hidden away in the center of a mountain. It is believed that Little Petra was an important suburb of Petra, the entry and exit point for the trade routes to the north and north-west. The site contains buildings that have been carved into the sandstone, used as residences, storages and tombs, with water channels and cisterns. The stone is whiter than the heavy rose color of Petra. The walk through this ancient city is breathtaking and helps remind us again of the capabilities and sense of community of these ancient peoples shared.

To Wadi Rum for Overnight : You will be transferred to Wadi Rum for overnight . If you will be there before sunset, then you are lucky to see the sunset. Marvel at the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin, before sleeping at the foot of the awesome mountains exploding out from the desert landscape. 

Day No.  6 / ( ) : Wadi Rum 4 hrs Jeep Tour  - Aqaba Free Day and Overnight

The Next day after Overnight in Wadi Rum  4hr Jeep tour : Breakfast at the camp and enjoy the sunrise. Start the 04-05 Hours 4x4 tour . The sites you are going to visit are :  Nabatean Temple – Aretas (IV): Used by Nabatean to worship ALLAT (Goddes). This temple was built on the ruins of Allat temple of the AAD TRIBE.  Lawrence’s spring: where Lawrence of Arabia reputedly washed during the Arab Revolt. Has an attractive rock inscriptions on nearby rocks.  Sand dunes: large area of sand dunes piled up against the mountains. Fun to climb to the top. Have desert-adapted plants . Khazali canyon: deep, narrow fissure in the mountain side, containing many rock inscriptions. Little bridge : one of the most popular rock bridges in Wadi Rum desert is named for its size. The Um Fruth rock bridge is one of the most photographed places in Wadi Rum. The bridge is about 15 meters up from the desert floor. Lawrence’s House in Wadi Rum is called so because TE Lawrence reportedly slept here during his time in the desert. But actually the place has a much older history than its namesake. Burdah Rock Bridge/Burdah Arch : This natural rock arch is the largest and most impressive rock arch found in our Protected Area.  You will enjoy a box lunch/cocked Bedouin lunch during the tour.

Leave to Aqaba, Surrounded by rough and rugged mountains that change color as the day ends, Aqaba is Jordan's only port city. It lies on the most northern tip of the Red Sea, which is amazing. Day No.  7 / ( ) : Aqaba - Wadi Al Mujib Siq Trail (Self Guide )* if available - Baptism Site - Dead Sea

Tour Itinerary :

If your tour between ( 1st April - 30th October ) : We drive you to Wadi Mujib Reserve, the lowest nature reserve in the world. Here you will do the self guided Siq Trail following a water stream deeper inside the cool canyon. Depending on your fitness level you can scramble along small waterfalls, but the further you go the higher the water, sometimes up to shoulders. With the Siq Trail, This trail starts at the Adventures Center near the Mujib Bridge, where you will take the cantilevered walkway over the dam and follow the course of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall. Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. This is an ideal walk to take slowly and enjoy the cool water and shade, especially in the heat of the summer.

We will drive towards Baptism Site (Bethany), the place where Jesus Christ was baptized by St. John the Baptist. It is now one of the 3 most important places of pilgrimage in Catholicism. Al-Maghtas ( "baptism" or "immersion"), officially known as Baptism Site "Bethany Beyond the Jordan", is an archaeological World Heritage site in Jordan, on the east bank of the Jordan River, considered to be the original location of the Baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist and venerated as such since at least the Byzantine period. The place has also been referred to as Bethany (Beyond the Jordan) and Bethabara (Hebrew). Al-Maghtas includes two principal archaeological areas: the remnants of a monastery on a mound known as Jabal Mar-Elias (Elijah's Hill) and an area close to the river with remains of churches, baptism ponds and pilgrim and hermit dwellings. The two areas are connected by a stream called Wadi Kharrar.

 Continue our trip down to the lowest point on Earth. The Dead Sea located in The Jordan Rift Valley is a dramatic, beautiful landscape, which at the Dead Sea, is over 400m (1,312 ft.) below sea level. Head to the Ma'in Hot Springs also known as Hammamat Ma'in ( (biblical Belemounta) are a series of hot mineral springs and waterfalls located between Madaba and the Dead Sea in Madaba Governorate.  is the thermal mineral hot springs and waterfalls, where Herod the Great was said to have bathed in its medicinal water, and where people have come for thermal treatments, or simply to enjoy a hot soak, since the days of Rome. Here the water, ranging from 45°C to a blistering 60°C, tumbles off the hillside in a series of waterfalls and less assuming trickles, and is collected in a variety of pools for public bathing. It contains potassium, magnesium and calcium.

Optional Trails/Tours in Wadi Al Mujib, The Mujib Biosphere Reserve is the lowest nature reserve in the world, with a spectacular array of scenery near the east coast of the Dead Sea. The Reserve is located within the deep Wadi Mujib gorge, which enters the Dead Sea at 410m below sea level. The Reserve extends to the Karak and Madaba mountains to the north and south, reaching 900 metres above sea level in some places.

 This 1,300m variation in elevation, combined with the valley's year- round water flow from seven tributaries, means that Wadi Mujib enjoys a magnificent bio-diversity that is still being explored and documented today. Over 300 species of plants, 10 species of carnivores and numerous species of permanent and migratory birds have been recorded.

Some of the remote mountain and valley areas are difficult to reach, and thus offer safe havens for rare species of cats, goats and other mountain animals. Mujib's sandstone cliffs are an ideal habitat for one of the most beautiful mountain goats in the world, the horned Ibex.

The Bedouin Camps (Echo/Traditional Bedouin Camps), How are they look like?

There are hundreds of camps to choose from in Wadi Rum., experience of living in the desert and enjoying the simple Bedouin life.

The Bedouin live in woolen tents, called Black tents. Herding goats and camels are a part of the traditional Bedouin culture. The goats and camels follow the Bedouin through the desert and provide them with milk, meat and wool. At a traditional Bedouin camp in the Wadi Rum desert, tented seating is kept cozy with a wood-burning fire.

Bedouin camps are located at the heart of the desert. They are an eco-friendly camp offer a traditional & real Bedouin experience. They have either shared or private bathrooms, equipped with mattresses, blankets and pillows. The camps are easy access to major archaeological sites. Desert buggies, camel rides, and jeep safaris can be arranged … After a day out, guests can enjoy a traditional Bedouin meal by the campfire or in the communal tent, guests can enjoy the traditional Bedouin cuisine served at the camp. Guests are invited to help staff prepare a traditional meal according to local traditions. Aslo, you can relax by the camp fire in the evening. The traditional Bedouin meal cooked in the camp are : Zarb ( which is cooked under the sand ) , the Bedouin barbeque , Also Mansaf, Maqloba vegan and vegetarian options ... Tea, coffee and other hot beverages are offered all day.
