Tour Itinerary of Petra and Wadi Rum Shore Excursion from Aqaba Port – Private and Group Tours :
In the morning our representative meets you with a sign in your name out the front of your ship. Passing by the majestic of Wadi Rum desert and the Sharah Mountains direct transfer approximately 02 hours to the rose red rock city Petra, a must-see in the Middle East. The legendary capital of the Nabatean is famous for its grandeur and marvelous architecture, and you have the opportunity to see a part of it today. Upon arrival at the Visitor's Centre start with your guide to the Siq, a narrow gorge, until you reach the beautiful Treasury, Al Khazneh, the most famous monument of Petra. From here continue along the Street of Facades and if time permits to the Royal Tombs. Walk on your own back to the Visitor Centre. After buffet lunch at a restaurant return transfer to Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Meet our English Speaking Bedouin representative who is your driver. You will enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4x4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges. Start the 01.30-02 hour 4x4 jeep tour. The sites you are going to visit are : Lawrence Spring, Sand Dunes, Khazali Canyon and Little Bridge. Meet our driver again and return transfer 01 hour to the cruise ship in Aqaba with the memories of an exciting day.

Golf Carts in Petra (Subject to availability)
The golf carts take a maximum of 5 people. The Golf carts can not be booked in advance. If people would like to register their interest for the golf carts we can send a representative to the Visitors Centre on the morning of the tour and try and secure golf carts for guests. The golf cart is for a booking of 1.5 hours.

Passport Information
You are required to provide your full passport details to us when you book this shore excursion.
In order to be authorized to pick guests up from the Port Area we are required to submit a visa manifest to the Border/Port Authority. The visa manifest requires the full passport details for all guests. This manifest is stamped and authorized which allows our guides and drivers with their vehicles to gain entry to the Port Area to pick up the guests from the front of the ship.
If you do not provide us with the full passport details of all guests, you will be required to catch the public shuttle bus from the Port area to the town centre. This can take from 1 – 2 hours and can cause significant delays for your tour.
This is why we ask for your full passport details when you submit your booking form for a Shore Excursion Tour with us.
Please note that Shore Excursions need to be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance so that we are able to get an authorized and stamped copy of the Visa Manifest form the Border/Port Authority.
4x4 Vehicles in Wadi Rum
The4x4 vehicles in Wadi Rum used for the jeep tour are owned by the local Bedouin associations and are generally old and in a poor state. Given that we don't have any other choice when it comes to transportation in Wadi Rum, we can only advise our clients about their state. Jeep tours in Wadi Rum are to support the local community of Wadi Rum Protected Area and Natural Reserve.
The Guides in Petra
The Local guides are assigned at the visitor's centre of the site and they dont belong to us (They are not JHT guides), they are employees of the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism and travel agencies cannot guarantee the quality of their services.We are going to arrange a spot guide for you.
Tipping in Jordan
Tipping is a practiced social custom in Jordan. Tipping by definition is voluntary – at the discretion of the customer. In tours services, tour guides and drivers are playing the most of the role , offering knowledge about Jordan history, traditions, artifacts, sites, food and others.
