¿Qué es un paseo en barco en Áqaba?
En general, se pueden realizar dos tipos de paseos en barco en Áqaba: por un lado, el 'clásico' a bordo de pequeñas embarcaciones privadas o yates, y por otro, el de los barcos con fondo de cristal. El paseo en barco en yate es, por lo general, un servicio que puede ser colectivo (con billetes individuales en compañía de más viajeros) o privado (a modo de alquiler, con patrón o sin patrón, en función de las licencias de las que disponga el usuario). Este servicio se puede contratar simplemente para disfrutar de un paseo por el mar, aunque muchos de los usuarios que reservan un barco lo hacen porque son expertos buceadores y quieren desplazarse a puntos de inmersión concretos. Por otro lado, el paseo en barco con fondo de cristal es un viaje diferente: son embarcaciones especiales con cascos transparentes que, navegando a una velocidad moderada, permiten al pasajero observar el fondo marino, ya sea para contemplar arrecifes de coral, peces de colores o incluso pecios hundidos. Los paseos en barco en Áqaba se pueden realizar desde cualquiera de los puertos deportivos de la ciudad o de sus alrededores: tanto el puerto deportivo del casco urbano como los situados al norte y al sur, donde se encuentran los complejos vacacionales y otras instalaciones de ocio marítimo.
Los paseos en barco con fondo de cristal suelen zarpar desde el puerto deportivo de la ciudad, situado junto al Fuerte de Áqaba, mientras que en el resto de puertos suelen atracar embarcaciones de recreo privadas, como el de Tala Bay, al sur de la ciudad. La duración de las rutas es variable y depende del recorrido que se realice. Suelen durar dos o tres horas, sin alejarse demasiado de la costa jordana. No obstante, también es posible contratar un servicio privado de mayor duración, pudiendo llegar hasta aguas egipcias o incluso desembarcar en algunos puntos de su territorio, como la Isla del Faraón. En ese caso, es obligatorio realizar una reserva especial que incluye el visado y todos los trámites burocráticos que puede requerir este país.

: 3- Online Booking and / or how to book this tour (Day trip in Jordan)? DT
-(A). You can book it online or please contact us by email. – (B). Kindly note Online bookings: When booking your trip on our website, we kindly ask for the full payment regardless of the booking date. Auto-generated e-mails are sent immediately after payment is made to confirm payment has been received. Online bookings are not confirmed until a personalized email detailing that a booking is confirmed is sent by a member of our reservation team, which will be within 24-48 hours of receiving your online booking. We endeavor to display accurate availability on our website, though on rare occasions online bookings are made concurrently with others, and our website cannot reflect this information.
: 4- In very rare cases, JHT reserves the rights to amend or cancel the booking in the following cases: DT
-(A). In Last minute booking in less than 24 hrs period of the requested date. –(B). When no personalized follow up email detailing that a booking is confirmed is sent by a member of our reservation team. If our JHT team is not available i.e. contact outside working hours, weekends, national holiday, religious holidays or any applicable holiday i.e. Easter, Eids, Christmas, New Year’s Eve…etc. –(C). In cases of missing information on guests’ side as some information is necessary. – (D). Also JHT reserves the right to amend /cancel the tour / itinerary for reasons such as service requirements, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Where a change /cancellation is of a significant nature it will be advised to our customers in writing. JHT cannot be held responsible for any service that we are unable to provide due to that particular component being unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. – (E). Note that Refunds will be applied as applicable in case if we have the rights to cancel the booking as explained above.
: 1. Excursions and Activities Terms & Conditions and Payment OTIJ
-(A). We may provide you with information (before and during your tour with Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT) about activities and excursions throughout the course of your tour in Jordan that are offered by third-party operators. Because these excursions will be provided by local operators and independent suppliers, Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT does not have any involvement in how they are run, nor can Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT guarantee the accuracy of information in relation to such activities and excursions outside of our control. –(B). Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT cannot guarantee that an optional excursion or activity operated by an independent third party will be available during your tour in Jordan, or that it will operate as advertised. Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT disclaims any liability in relation to such activities or excursions. –(C). Those tours are subject to the supplier’s Terms and conditions or any other circumstances, i.e : service requirements, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances…etc -(D) If you want to include this tour in your Jordan Tour package with us , this will be added to your original booking and you can pay to us directly & it will be added to the tour .-(E). If the supplier cannot do the tour for you for any reason such as service requirements, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances …etc, you will be refunded for that tour.
: 2. When those tours can be booked or added to your tour package in Jordan OTIJ
-(A). Those tours only available for booking in case if a tour package has been booked and those tour to be added to the package. So, Booking this tour is not available UNLESS you have already booked or you are going to book a tour package in Jordan.-(B). Otherwise if you have a rental car and booking Jordan tour by your own, you can contact them the suppliers of those tours to book it for you.
: 3. Booking in Advance or Booking once you are in Jordan ? OTIJ
-(A). Some optional tours can not be booked in advance and they will be available upon your arrival to Jordan (Examples : camel riding in Petra and Wadi Rum, Golf Carts in Petra, Petra by Night, Petra Kitchen, Beit Setti, optional tours in Aqaba …etc. You can ask your driver/guide to book and arrange them for you , and you can pay to the driver or to the service supplier directly. –(B). However, some of the optional tours should be booked in advance, (i.e Balloon Ride , Horse Riding in Petra or Wadi Rum , Guided tours in Petra , Tours by Jeep or Trekking in wadi rum , Hiking tours and guides in Dana …etc), Those optional tours should be booked in advance and they are subject to the supplier’s Terms and conditions or any other circumstances, i.e : service requirements, availability, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances…etc.
Pro-tip: Some activities and excursions are subject to a minimum number of travelers in order to run, while the excursions could be confirmed by supplier months ahead, closer to date, and if the minimum number to operate was not achieved, or if for weather conditions, it was deemed unsafe to run, the excursions can be cancelled by vendor.
