Itinerario

Este sendero (Distancia: 6 km) comienza completando el Sendero Principal (el sendero más visitado en Petra, el sendero comienza desde el centro de visitantes de Petra a través del siq hasta el Tesoro, luego las tumbas reales, la calle con columnas y finalmente el Palacio de la Niña (Qasr Al Bint)). Luego continuará hasta el Monasterio por escaleras antiguas y después de una corta caminata llegará al Triclinio del León, que se encuentra en un pequeño wadi lateral a la izquierda. Continúe pasando esto por la escalera tallada para llegar a una ermita con cámaras excavadas en la roca y decoradas con muchas cruces talladas. Luego continúe hacia arriba para llegar a Ad Deir, que se encuentra un poco más allá y ofrece una vista fantástica de la zona.

Itinerario del sendero/recorrido:

EspañolSe reunirá con su guía en el Centro de visitantes cerca de la oficina de venta de entradas. Comprará su boleto de entrada (o podemos comprarlo/organizarlo si está incluido en nuestro paquete). Ingresará al Parque Arqueológico de Petra (PAP) desde la puerta principal en Wadi Musa. La caminata desde esta puerta hasta la entrada del Siq, Bab al-Siq, lleva 15 minutos a un ritmo suave (cuesta abajo) y quizás 10 minutos adicionales para regresar (porque es cuesta arriba), es decir, 25 minutos. Por lo tanto, recuerde agregar 40 minutos a su tiempo total para llegar allí y regresar. Desde la entrada al Siq. La caminata en sí suele durar unos 10 minutos, y pasará por la Tumba del Obelisco y el Triclinio de Bab As-Siq. Caminar por el Siq en sí a un ritmo tranquilo le llevará media hora. No olvide buscar el canal de agua nabateo a su izquierda y las tuberías de agua de cerámica nabatea a su derecha. Mantén los ojos bien abiertos para ver la escultura del camellero en el lado izquierdo del Siq mientras caminas hacia el Tesoro (Al Khazanah). Si miras con más atención, un poco más allá, verás otro grupo de camellos que se dirigen hacia arriba. Observa los numerosos nichos a lo largo del Siq que representan a las diferentes deidades. Tómate otros 10-20 minutos para explorar el Tesoro (Al Khazanah), toma muchas fotos y prepárate para descubrir mucho más. Después de haber caminado por el Siq y explorado el Tesoro (Al Khazanah), continúa hacia el Teatro, las Tumbas Reales, la Corte (Real), luego camina por la Calle de las Columnas hacia Qasr al Bint, pasando por los Paraísos, el Gran Templo, las tiendas romanas y la Puerta de Temenos en tu camino.

Luego, continúa hasta el Monasterio, subiendo 800 escalones. En el camino, puedes hacer un pequeño desvío hacia el Triclinio del León. Es una subida agotadora, pero las vistas sobre Wadi Araba valen la pena. Después de descender a la Cuenca de Petra, y si aún tienes energía, camina de regreso a través del Templo del León Alado, la Iglesia de la Cresta y la Iglesia Azul y las Tumbas Reales (Tumba de la Urna; Tumba de la Seda; Tumba Corintia; Tumba del Palacio y la Tumba de Sextio Florentino) antes de salir del sitio tomando la misma ruta por la que viniste.

-(A). You can book it online or please contact us by email. – (B). Kindly note Online bookings: When booking your trip on our website, we kindly ask for the full payment regardless of the booking date. Auto-generated e-mails are sent immediately after payment is made to confirm payment has been received. Online bookings are not confirmed until a personalized email detailing that a booking is confirmed is sent by a member of our reservation team, which will be within 24-48 hours of receiving your online booking. We endeavor to display accurate availability on our website, though on rare occasions online bookings are made concurrently with others, and our website cannot reflect this information.
: 4- In very rare cases, JHT reserves the rights to amend or cancel the booking in the following cases: DT

-(A). In Last minute booking in less than 24 hrs period of the requested date. –(B). When no personalized follow up email detailing that a booking is confirmed is sent by a member of our reservation team. If our JHT team is not available i.e. contact outside working hours, weekends, national holiday, religious holidays or any applicable holiday i.e. Easter, Eids, Christmas, New Year’s Eve…etc. –(C). In cases of missing information on guests’ side as some information is necessary. – (D). Also JHT reserves the right to amend /cancel the tour / itinerary for reasons such as service requirements, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Where a change /cancellation is of a significant nature it will be advised to our customers in writing. JHT cannot be held responsible for any service that we are unable to provide due to that particular component being unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. – (E). Because these excursions will be provided by local operators and independent suppliers, Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT does not have any involvement in how they are run, nor can Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT guarantee the accuracy of information in relation to such activities and excursions outside of our control. –(B). Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT cannot guarantee that an optional excursion or activity operated by an independent third party will be available during your tour in Jordan, or that it will operate as advertised. Jordan Horizons Tours - JHT disclaims any liability in relation to such activities or excursions. –(C). Those tours are subject to the supplier’s Terms and conditions or any other circumstances, i.e : service requirements, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances…etc -(D) If you want to include this tour in your Jordan Tour package with us , this will be added to your original booking and you can pay to us directly & it will be added to the tour .-(E). : 2. When those tours can be booked or added to your tour package in Jordan OTIJ

-(A). Those tours only available for booking in case if a tour package has been booked and those tour to be added to the package. So, Booking this tour is not available UNLESS you have already booked or you are going to book a tour package in Jordan.-(B). Otherwise if you have a rental car and booking Jordan tour by your own, you can contact them the suppliers of those tours to book it for you.
: 3. Booking in Advance or Booking once you are in Jordan ? OTIJ

-(A). Some optional tours can not be booked in advance and they will be available upon your arrival to Jordan (Examples : camel riding in Petra and Wadi Rum, Golf Carts in Petra, Petra by Night, Petra Kitchen, Beit Setti, optional tours in Aqaba …etc. You can ask your driver/guide to book and arrange them for you , and you can pay to the driver or to the service supplier directly. –(B). However, some of the optional tours should be booked in advance, (i.e Balloon Ride , Horse Riding in Petra or Wadi Rum , Guided tours in Petra , Tours by Jeep or Trekking in wadi rum , Hiking tours and guides in Dana …etc), Those optional tours should be booked in advance and they are subject to the supplier’s Terms and conditions or any other circumstances, i.e : service requirements, availability, road or weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances…etc. Pro-tip: Some activities and excursions are subject to a minimum number of travelers in order to run, while the excursions could be confirmed by supplier months ahead, closer to date, and if the minimum number to operate was not achieved, or if for weather conditions, it was deemed unsafe to run, the excursions can be cancelled by vendor.
