Beijing, China - Media CenterThe Jordan Tourism Board has achieved a new global accomplishment by winning the “Best Tourist Destination in the World” award at the LUXURY TIMES 2024 Awards , which is one of the most prominent global forums for honoring distinguished tourism bodies and institutions. This came during a ceremony held in the Chinese capital, Beijing, in the presence of an elite group of representatives of the global tourism sector .
On this occasion, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, said: “This honor reflects the continuous efforts made by the Board to enhance Jordan’s position as a distinguished tourist destination. We also seek to continue providing exceptional experiences for tourists and focus on innovation in promoting Jordanian tourism .”
Arabiyat pointed out that the Authority’s receipt of this award constitutes an additional incentive to continue providing the best for tourists and strengthening partnerships with global markets, which contributes to achieving the Kingdom’s vision to be a sustainable destination that combines cultural heritage and tourism innovation .
Arabiyat added: This achievement confirms Jordan's leading position as a global tourist destination that combines authentic heritage and diverse natural resources, and highlights the intensive efforts made by the Jordan Tourism Board to promote the Kingdom on the international stage, through innovative marketing campaigns and the move towards sustainable tourism .
Arabiyat noted that this award reflects international recognition of Jordan’s distinction as a destination that combines adventure, recreation and culture, offering unique tourism experiences that meet the aspirations of visitors from all over the world. From Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, to the Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and other historical and natural sites that have made it the focus of tourists around the world .
