One major highlight is the debut of a spectacular 3D projection mapping show, now said to be the largest weekly display of its kind in the world. This immersive visual story, cast directly onto Petra’s Treasury façade, brings to life the legacy of the Nabataeans through vivid light and sound.
Visitors still begin their journey at the Petra Visitor Centre, walking the candlelit Siq under a sky full of stars. The serene glow, accompanied by traditional Bedouin melodies, sets the mood for an awe-inspiring arrival at the Treasury — where the new projection show transforms the iconic monument into a canvas of myth, culture, and color.
The event now takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, starting at 8:30 PM and lasting approximately two hours. The updated ticket price is 30 JOD per adult, while children under 10 can enjoy the experience free of charge.
