The opening hours for the Passenger Terminal are:

  • Sunday to Thursday: 07:00 – 20:30

  • Friday and Saturday: 08:30 – 18:30
    The border is closed during Yom Kippur and the Muslim New Year, and hours may vary during Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and national holidays. For Jewish holidays, please refer to this link for more information.

On the Jordanian side, holiday hours are typically announced on short notice. Keep an eye on any upcoming holidays and remain flexible with your travel plans. Be aware that the border may close unexpectedly or with limited notice.

  • Israeli Visa: Free
  • Israeli Departure Tax: 105 NIS (approximately $30 USD) per person.
  • Jordanian Visa: 40 JD (approximately $60 USD) if not included in your tour package.
  • Jordanian Departure Tax: 10 JD (approximately $15 USD) if not included in your tour package.
  • Shuttle Bus Cost: 1.6 JD (approximately $2.50 USD) per person.

Rates may change without notice, and surcharges (if applicable) will be the responsibility of the guest.

The crossing process is as follows:

  1. Complete Israeli Border Procedures: Proceed to the passport counter on the Israeli side to pay the departure tax.
  2. Shuttle Transfer: Take the shuttle bus from the Israeli side to the Jordanian border. The shuttle runs approximately every 25 minutes, though delays may occur.
  3. Entering Jordan: Upon arrival at the Jordanian border, go through baggage and security checks. If you have the "meet and assist" service, your guide / driver will be waiting to help you with your visa process.

If your tour package includes the "meet and assist" service, we require full passport details for all guests. These details are needed to prepare the visa manifest, which allows your driver or guide to be authorized to enter the arrivals terminal and assist you with the visa process at the border.
