Continue to Ajloun, where you’ll visit the 12th-century Islamic castle built to defend against Crusader armies. Your final stop is Umm Qais, an ancient Greco-Roman city with panoramic views of the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. Return to Amman for the evening and relax after an exciting day of history.
This morning, explore Amman's Old City, starting with the Citadel and Roman Theater. Stroll through the bustling markets and stop to visit the Al-Husseini Mosque. Afterward, head south to Madaba, famous for its Byzantine mosaics, including the renowned Madaba Map. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land, and enjoy the spectacular views.
