Petra and Wadi Rum Tour 03 Days - 02 Nights (CT-JHT-003)
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 01 : Amman Airport - Amman & Overnight</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Upon arrival to Queen Alia Airport our representative will meet you with a sign before customs to assist you with your free visa to Jordan. Transfer about 50 minutes to Amman, the capital of the country, stretching over 19 hills. Short round to get an impression of this modern city, before your driver takes you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.</span></p> <hr /> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 02 : Amman - Petra - Wadi Rum & Overnight </strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning pick up from the hotel lobby and drive approximately 2.5 hours via the Desert Highway to the rock city Petra, Jordan's main attraction and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Petra was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe settling in the area. With a sophisticated water supply and distribution system the city could prosper and the Nabateans founded a commercial empire that extended into Syria and controlled the main caravan routes at that time. Meet your private guide at the Visitor Center and start the tour on horse-back or on foot to the Siq, the narrow canyon with some votive niches. At the end of this gorge you will see the most beautiful monument of Petra, the Treasury, also known as Al Khazneh. Continue along the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Free time on your own before you return in the afternoon to the gate of Petra where you will meet your driver again. Drive 1.30 hr to Wadi Rum for overnight with dnner and breakfast.</span></p> <hr /> <p><span><strong>Day 03 : Wadi Rum 4x4 Tour - Amman Airport / Amman (Departure)</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Breakfast & Sunrise at the camp. Enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4x4 tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridge. Start the 04-05 hour 4x4 tour with our local Bedouin who is the driver. The sites you are going to visit are :</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Nabatean Temple</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Lawrence Spring</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Sand Dunes</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Khazali Canyon</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Little Bridge</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Um Frouth Rock Bridge</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Lawrence House</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>-Burdah Rock Bridge/Burdah Arch & more</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>On the way back 01 Hour Camel Riding is optional (15 JD/ $21 USD per hour per camel)</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Then meet our driver again , and drive back to Amman hotel / Queen Alia airport which is 3.30 - 04.00 hrs driving approx. (You can be there in Amman at 04.00 pm or after.)</span></p>
