Day 1: Arrival Amman Airport - Amman & Overnight
Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport our representative welcomes you before you go to customs to help you with your free visa on arrival to Jordan (Visa fee waived). The representative will take you to meet your driver who will transfer to your hotel in Amman, check in, remainder of the day free.

Day 2: Amman Hotel - Jerash - Ajloun - Anjara - Umm Qais - Amman & Overnight
In the north of Amman you visit the best preserved example of a Roman provincial city, Jerash with its theaters, churches, temples, a Nymphaeum and colonnaded streets. A short drive through the beautiful forest area, you will come to Ajloun and visit the ruined castle which was built by Salameen as part of the defense against the crusaders. Nearby you will visit Anjara to see the Shrine of Our Lady of the Mountain. It is said that here the Virgin Mary and Jesus had a rest on their journey from the Holyland. We head on further north to Umm Qais, the ancient Gadara, with its Hellenistic-Roman remains. According to the Bible it was here that Jesus preformed the miracle of sending the demons into a herd of swine that ran into the Sea of Galilee. From Gadara you have a magnificent view over this Sea, the Jordan Valley and the Golan Heights. Return to your hotel in Amman.
Day 3: Amman Hotel - Baptism Site - Mt. Nebo - Madaba & Overnight
After breakfast we drive to the Jordan Valley, to Bethany beyond the Jordan River. This is the place where the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist took place. We also have a look at Elijah's Hill where Prophet Elijah ascended to heaven. From here we journey to Mt. Nebo, the burial site of Prophet Moses overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Here you view 4th and 6th century Byzantine churches with wonderful mosaics. Then we visit the mosaic city of Madaba, where the oldest map of the Holy Land exists on the floor of St. George's Church. More mosaics can be seen in the Archaeological Park, which houses some masterpieces from Byzantine churches.

Day 4: Madaba Hotel - Mukawir - King's Way - Karak - Petra & Overnight
On the 700 meter high hill Mukawir, in biblical times known as Machaerus, had been a great palace, where Herod Antipas imprisoned and killed John the Baptist. Although very running there is still to see towers, walls and baths as well as a great view of the Dead Sea. Traveling on the King's Way, a route that has been in use since Biblical times, we drive through the land of Edom and Moab to Karak. We visit here the great Crusader castle. Afterwards we head further south to Petra for overnight.

Day 5: Petra Visit - & Overnight
The red-rose city of Petra is a unique destination. More than 2000 years ago the area was settled by the Nabataeans who carved magnificent buildings in the sandstone. You will have a guided tour for approximately 2.5 hours and then free time to explore on your own. We walk through the Siq, an immense crack in the stone, to see at the end Petra's most impressive monument: the Treasury. You walk along the Street of Facades, see the Royal Tombs, Qasr al Bint. You will say goodbye to your guide. There is still plenty to see and you might like to climb up the 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir.

Day 6: Petra Hotel - Wadi Rum - 4x4 Tour - Overnight
Today we drive 1.5 hours to the dramatic Wadi Rum, one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world. On a 04 - 05 hour 4x4 tour you will see sand dunes, spectacular rock formations, canyons and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Box lunch is included on the 4x4 tour. Dinner will be served at a Bedouin camp in the desert where we also spend the night.

Day 7: Wadi Rum Camp - Wadi Araba - Lot's Cave - Dead Sea - Amman & Overnight
In the morning we drive from the desert to the Dead Sea. On the way we visit Lot's Cave near the town of Safi. Here Prophet Lot lived together with his daughters after he fled the sinful cities Sodom and Gomorrah. We head on to the beach at the Dead Sea where you can relax the rest of the day and float in the salty water. In the evening we drive to Amman for overnight.

Day 8: Amman - Amman City Half Day Tour - Amman & Overnight
Today we visit downtown Amman. The city was mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath-Ammon, the capital of the Ammonites. Our tour will take you to the Citadel with its remains from the Roman to the Byzantine period and the Archaeological Museum. You will visit the Folklore Museum and the Roman Theater from 2nd century as well as the Coptic Church. The rest of the day is for leisure or you discover parts of the capital on your own account.
Day 9: Amman Hotel - Amman Airport (for departure)
Transfer to the airport to say farewell and to board your international flight.
