<h1 style="text-align: center;"><span><strong>The Jordan Family Tour An 8 day itinerary through Jordan</strong></span></h1> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 1: Arrival Amman Airport – Madaba & Overnight</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>The driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Madaba. Your overnight stay is at hotel in Madaba including breakfast.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 2 (B): Madaba – Jerash – Madaba & Overnight</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>After breakfast you can spend the morning walking around the beautiful mosaics here. Then late morning the driver will meet you and take you north for lunch in Jerash and a visit of the impressive ruins. Wander along the Colonnaded Way, climb up the steps of the Temple of Artemis or listen to the traditional bagpipers in the Theatre. In the late afternoon, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Madaba</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 3 (B/D): Madaba – Karak – Dana Nature Reserve – Wadi Rum & Overnight</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>You will travel South along the Kings’ Highway to Wadi Rum – or Valley of the Moon. Your first stop along this ancient trade route is at Karak Castle, one of the largest Crusader Castles in the Middle East. You’ll have time for a visit to the ruins and to take some lunch in the town. Then you’ll continue down to Dana Nature Reserve, to enjoy some amazing views into green valleys and over into Wadi Araba. Late afternoon you arrive in the protected area of Wadi Rum, a World Heritage site. Overnight at a Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum with dinner and breakfast. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 4 (B): Wadi Rum – Aqaba & Overnight</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>This morning, you’ll enjoy a 4 hour 4x4 safari of the highlights of the desert – visit the Nabatean inscriptions, red sand dunes and rock bridges. Then you’ll meet your driver and continue south to Aqaba for some relaxing time at the pool or beach. From the beach, you can opt for a dive or a snorkel to admire the beautiful coral reef and its inhabitants. Overnight stay in Aqaba. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Optional: Wadi Rum – camel ride 15JD / $21 USD per hour</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Optional : Snorkeling, Diving, Glass Bottom boat ride in Aqaba</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 5 (B): Aqaba – Little Petra - Petra & Overnight</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Today you have the morning to enjoy relaxing by the beach, swimming or snorkeling. In the afternoon, your car will take you to the next stop on the itinerary – Petra. You will make a short visit to Little Petra, for a taster of what’s to come tomorrow. Overnight Petra hotel including breakfast. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Optional: Glass bottom boat ride, snorkelling or other water activities. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 6 (B): Petra visit & Overnight</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>You have the day to explore this fantastic UNESCO and World Heritage site. You can visit The Royal Tombs and make the climb to the viewpoint to look down onto the Treasury as the morning sun hits it. Or perhaps climb up the mountain opposite to the High Place of Sacrifice and take the trail down to the Garden Temple Complex. At the end of the day you can walk back to your hotel for the night.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Optional: Petra Kitchen cooking class or Turkish Bath. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 7 (B): Petra – Dead Sea & Overnight</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>After breakfast, you will continue via a beautiful scenic road to the lowest point on earth: the Dead Sea. Enjoy a full body mud treatment and floating in the rich mineral water. Overnight at Dead Sea hotel.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span><strong>Day 8 (B): Dead Sea – Queen Alia International Airport</strong></span></h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Time to say goodbye to Jordan, you’ll be transferred to the airport to meet your flight. Depending on time of departure you can have some extra leisure time at the Dead Sea and/ or visit Mt Nebo on the way to the airport.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
