Day 1: Cairo Airport – Cairo
On arrival to Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo. Check-in your room! - Overnight in Cairo
Day 2: Cairo Pyramids of Giza tour
Breakfast at the hotel, today we will start our tour in Cairo to visit The Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Transfer you back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo
Day 3: Cairo – Aswan – Nile Cruise ship
After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport to catch your morning flight from Cairo to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our local tour guide in Aswan to visit the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the Unfinished Obelisk. After the day tour, we will transfer you to your Nile Cruise ship for check-in. Enjoy your Lunch and relax then start sailing and you will start Dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan
Day 4: Aswan – Temple of Sobek –Edfu
Breakfast on board, Morning time we will visit Temple of Sobek & Haroeris in Kom Ombo, followed by Temple of Horus in Edfu. Evening time is FREE at leisure to enjoy the Egyptian folkloric show on the ship with a belly dancer and many other entertaining performances. Lunch & Dinner are included on board - Overnight in Edfu.
Day 5: Luxor – Valley of the kings – Temple of Deir El Bahari
After breakfast, we will visit the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. After the tour, we will get back to the Nile Cruise to have our delicious lunch meal on board. Enjoy your Afternoon tea on board while relaxing on the sundeck. And then dinner will be served.
Day 6: Luxor – Karnak Temple – Cairo airport - Amman Airport arrival (evening flight)
After breakfast, enjoy your wonderful buffet breakfast on board before exploring the east bank of Luxor, including the Karnak Temples Complex and Luxor Temple. After this tour, we will transfer you to Luxor airport to catch your domestic flight to Cairo. Then fly to Jordan. Arrival Amman Airport - Amman with free visa: Arrival to Queen Alia airport. Our representative will meet you before Visa Control with a sign with your name on it. They will take care of all the necessary paperwork for your free Jordanian Visa. They will then take you to meet your driver. You will be transferred 30 mins to Amman to your hotel.
Day 7: Amman City tour – Jerash - Ajloun - Amman
After breakfast, Drive to the heart of Amman for Amman City Tour, start your Amman city tour to explore Amman downtown. Amman is a bustling modern city. We will visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. Located at the Citadel site is the small Archaeological Museum, housing an excellent collection showing the occupation of the site over the centuries. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, to the Roman theatre from the 2nd century with 6000 seats. The Amman City Tour can be a self-guided transferring you to each site.
Then drive north to Jerash, the well-preserved city of the Roman Empire, often called Pompeii of the East. Initially built by Alexander the Great, the town started to prosper after the Roman conquest, and was one of the Decapolis cities in northern Jordan. Visit Hadrian's Arch, built in 130 ADS to honour the visit of Emperor Hadrian. Pass the Hippodrome offering space for 15,000 spectators, the impressive Forum, continue to the Temple of Artemis with columns 12 meters high and each drum weighs 20-40 tons. Other highlights are the Colonnaded Street and the Nymphaeum. Then drive 20 minutes to Ajloun; Transfer through a beautiful pine-forest and olive groves, reaching the city of Ajloun. Here you will find Al-Rabid Castle; the 12th century Castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. You will explore the castle by yourself. It is an easy site to explore by yourself.
Day 8: Amman – Madaba -Mt. Nebo -Dead Sea- Petra
After breakfast, Drive to the town Madaba, where you find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. After that continue to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and alleged to be his burial place. You will visit an old monastery; overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. Then head towards the lowest point on earth the Dead Sea for you to enjoy the health benefits of its mineral mud and float on its salty waters which is 10 times saltier than ocean water. It has attracted many visitors since the ancient time including King Herod, the Great Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. You will check into one of the Day Beach Resorts (Holiday Inn / Dead Sea Spa or other hotels upon request at extra charges) and enjoy their facilities and services including lunch. Drive to Petra for overnight.
Day 9: Petra visit
After breakfast, Petra visit (Main Trial to the Monastery): Start your Petra trail (Main Trial to the Monastery), You enter the Petra Archaeological Park (PAP) from the main gate in Wadi Musa. The walk from this gate to the entrance of the Siq, Bab al- Siq, takes 15 minutes at a gentle pace (downhill) and perhaps an extra 10 minutes returning (because it is uphill) i.e., 25 minutes. So, remember to add 40 minutes to your total time to get there and back. From the entrance to the Siq. The walk itself typically takes just about 10 minutes, and you will pass the Obelisk Tomb and Bab As-Siq Triclinium. Walking through the Siq itself at a leisurely pace will take ½ an hour. Don’t forget to look out for the Nabataean water channel on your left and the Nabataean ceramic water pipes on your right. Keep your eyes open for the Cameleer carving on the left side of the Siq as you walk towards the Treasury (Al Khazanah). If you look more carefully just beyond, you will see another set of camels heading upwards. Notice the many niches all along the Siq representing the different deities. Give yourself another 10-20 min to explore the Treasury (Al Khazanah) itself, take lots of photos, and prepare yourself to discover a lot more. After having walked through the Siq and explored the Treasury (Al Khazanah), carry on towards the Theatre, the Royal Tombs, the (Royal) court, then walk down the Colonnaded Street towards Qasr al Bint, passing by the Parades iOS, the Great Temple, the Roman shops, & Temenos Gate on your way. You then continue to the Monastery, 800 steps uphill. On the way you can take a short detour to the Lion Triclinium. This is a tiring climb but the views overlooking Wadi Araba are well worth it. After you descend to the Petra Basin, and if you still have the energy, walk back via the Temple of the Winged Lion, the Ridge Church and the Blue Church and the Royal Tombs (Urn Tomb; Silk Tomb; Corinthian Tomb; Palace Tomb and the Tomb of Sixties Florentinus) before you exit the site taking the same route you came through.
Day 10: Petra -Wadi Rum 2 hours jeep ride – Amman
Breakfast and checkout, Transfer to Wadi Rum, also known as the “Valley of the Moon”, where many parts of the famous movie “Lawrence of Arabia” were filmed. Wadi Rum is a uniquely shaped massive mountain that rose amongst the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish and golden colours. Explore Wadi Rum by 2 hours 4x4 jeep tour. Return to the visitor’s centre if Wadi rum then drive back to Amman for overnight.
Day 11: Amman -Amman Airport
Drive to Queen Alia Airport (Amman Airport) and drop you off, where your tour ends there, Good Bye!
