Detailed Itinerary for both options cases for “2 day 1 night Wadi Rum and Petra Tour from Eilat Border with overnight in Petra or Wadi Rum and departure through Amman / Queen Alia Airport ”:
Day 01 : Eilat Border Crossing – Wadi Rum – 4x4 Tour – Petra or Wadi Rum Overnight
You will arrive to the Eilat Border until 12.00 pm (maximum). You will complete the Israeli side of the border crossing by yourself and then cross into the Jordanian side where you will meet our representative who will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. You will be transferred 01hour to Wadi Rum, meet our Bedouin Representative at Wadi Rum Village and enjoy the Real Bedouin Hospitality (Bedouin Tea, Coffee etc).
Enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4x4 tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges. Start the 04-05 hour 4x4 tour with our local Bedouin who is your driver. The sites you are going to visit are : Nabatean Temple, Lawrence Spring, Sand Dunes, Khazali Canyon, Little Bridge, Um Frouth Rock Bridge, Lawrence House, and Burdah Rock Bridge/Burdah Arch.
You will enjoy a box lunch during the tour.
01 Hour Camel Riding is optional from Rum Village to Lawrence Spring (15 JD/$21 USD per hour per camel).
If you are staying in Wadi Rum you will be taken to the Bedouin Camp for overnight. Marvel at the stars in the sky and enjoy the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin with a traditional bbq dinner.

At the end of the 4x4 tour you will be taken back to Wadi Rum Village where you will meet our driver again, and drive you 1.5 hours to Petra.

Day 02 : Petra/Wadi Rum – Petra Tour – Amman Airport/Amman City/King Hussein Bridge
Breakfast at the hotel or Camp.
If you stayed overnight at Wadi Rum you will be transferred 1.5 hours to Petra.
Today we head to visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated for a long time the Arabian trade routes, and is a must see in the Middle East. Meet your guide at the Visitor's Centre and start to explore the mystic site on a 2.5 hour guided tour. You pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theatre and Qasr Al Bint. Free time on your own, then walk the same way back to the entrance gate.
Meet your driver again and drive you 03 hours to Amman / Queen Alia Airport / King Hussein Bridge (Allenby) for drop off.

Departure will be through Queen Alia Airport / Amman / King Hussein Bridge.
*Both 02 options with the same rate for 3* flat rate (Petra hotel or Bedouin Camp). If you choose to stay overnight in Wadi Rum in a standard luxury tent at a luxury camp the 4* high season rate applies for all the year. The 5* low and high season rate applies only to overnight at Petra hotels. If you would like to stay in the 5* stargazing tent in Wadi Rum please ask us to advise the rate.
