The reserve works to protect these forests, spread environmental awareness in the region and encourage ecotourism in the reserve and in the governorate by working to establish a tourist camp to enjoy the area more and spend more time in it. It also establishes a center to serve visitors to introduce them to the governorate, its monuments and its tourism importance and encourage them to visit all its sites in cooperation with the relevant administrative authorities. There is also a road network that leads to all tourist and archaeological sites.
