This is the official statement from the Jordan Tourism Board:
"We are glad to announce that the Jordanian government has followed recommendations from the Ministry of Health today that will relax travel restrictions regarding Covid-19.
As from the 1st of March 2022 travelers to Jordan will no longer need to conduct a PCR test before departure to Jordan nor will they need to conduct a PCR test upon arrival at the airports, land borders or sea ports.
Keeping in mind that travelers will still need to sign up to the (www.gateway2jordan.gov.jo) platform to receive their QR code for border entry and entry to hotels, restaurants and public areas with a need to sign a declaration via the platform that states in case of having any Covid-19 symptoms during their stay to conduct a rapid test or PCR test and in case of a positive result the traveler must self-quarantine for five days.
We hope the relaxing of previous restrictions will help once again the recovery of tourism to the Kingdom and ease access for travelers planning their trips to Jordan.
