Bandara Internasional Queen Alia

Queen Alia InternationaBandara Internasional Queen Alia adalah bandara utama dan terbesar di Yordania dan terletak di Zizya, 30 kilometer (20 mil) di selatan ibu kota, Amman didirikan pada tahun 1983. Dinamai menurut nama Ratu Alia yang meninggal pada tahun 1977.

Terminal baru yang canggih diresmikan pada Maret 2013 untuk menggantikan dua terminal penumpang yang lebih tua dan satu terminal kargo. Pada tahun 2014, bandara baru ini menerima penghargaan "Peningkatan Terbaik menurut Wilayah: Timur Tengah" dan "Bandara Terbaik menurut Wilayah: Timur Tengah" oleh Airport Council International. Penghargaan diberikan kepada bandara yang mencapai kepuasan pelanggan tertinggi dalam Survei ASQ.

Ciri utamanya adalah atap yang terinspirasi dari tenda Badui dan terdiri dari 127 kubah beton yang masing-masing memiliki berat mencapai 600 metrik ton. Terminal ini menampung beberapa tempat makanan dan minuman internasional yang mencakup restoran, supermarket, dan pemanggang kacang; area Bebas Bea yang lebih besar; area bermain anak-anak; outlet belanja tambahan; dan konektivitas internet ..

 

Bandara Sipil Amman

ammanciviairportBandar Udara Sipil Amman, umumnya dikenal sebagai Bandar Udara Internasional Marka, terletak di distrik Marka, Kota Greater Amman, Yordania, sekitar 5 km timur laut dari pusat kota Amman.

Bandara ini berfungsi sebagai bandara sipil utama di Amman untuk penumpang dalam penerbangan pribadi, dan juga sebagai pusat pendidikan dan pelatihan penerbangan. Itu adalah bandara utama untuk Yordania sampai Bandara Internasional Queen Alia dibuka pada tahun 1983.

Bandara ini didirikan pada tahun 1950 oleh Inggris sebagai bandara sipil militer gabungan. Pada tahun 2009, Perusahaan Bandara Jordan secara resmi mengambil tanggung jawab manajerial dan operasional untuk Bandara Sipil Amman. Ini terutama berfungsi sekarang sebagai bandara regional yang melayani rute domestik dan internasional terdekat, serta penerbangan charter dan VIP pribadi.

Aqaba AirportBandara Aqaba juga dikenal sebagai Bandara Internasional Raja Hussein adalah bandara yang terletak di sekitar Kota Industri, pinggiran utara Aqaba di Yordania.

Kapasitas Tahunan 1.000.000, bandara ini memiliki 4 meja check-in, 2 gerbang, gedung kargo dan celemek kargo bersama dengan taxiway paralel. Bandara ini memiliki satu sabuk klaim bagasi, 200 tempat parkir jangka pendek, Kantor Pos, Bank, Kafetaria, Lounge VIP, Toko Bebas Bea, dan Toko Suvenir, dan sebuah klinik.

Bandara ini juga mencakup bangunan untuk Ayla Aviation Academy, Royal Jordanian Academy, pabrik perakitan Aero Wings for Industry untuk pesawat ringan, terminal jet pribadi Jordan Private Jets Services (JPJets), dan pusat pemeliharaan Al Baddad International Group. Terminal kargo baru (6000 m2) dan apron kargo baru (220x600 m) dibuka pada Januari 2005.
